Can anyone help with information on this family in Ireland?

John is described as banker, &  husband to Emily Margaret;

A memorial to his son James Agnew McNeale, Born in Belfast, 27th December 1843. died at Gulmarg August 13th 1901 Aged 57 years.
James Agnew spent most of his career as a soldier in India and died there.
James son, John Hugh McNeale,born 1876 in India,  also spent his career as a policeman in India but died in Cheltenham 1956

Rush Park is on the shores of Belfast Lough, near the end of the M5 motorway. You can see it on the attached link. It was an area where wealthy merchants tended to have their homes.

This may be of some help.

Charles Agnew McNeale, Esq., 4th son of John McNeale of Rush Park, married in 1880 to Mary (Mamie) Goodyear, dau of Charles A. Goodyear and Eirene Warriner King, dau of the Rev. Jonas King.  Marriage took place in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Henry T. McNeale, 3rd son of John of Rush Park, m. in 1876 in Paris to Blanche A. Harding, dau of Gustav Palmer Harding, who was the sales rep for Merriweathe & Sons, manufacturers of steam locomotives.  Marriage took place in Paris where Gustav was living.

Another dau of Gustav Palmer Harding, Elizabeth (Bessie) Palmer Harding m. in 1877 to William Bernard Godfrey, son of J. S. Godfrery, barrister, living in London.  This marriage also took place in Paris, France.

Some additional information concerning the McNeale family of Rush Park:

John McNeale, Esq. died on Feb. 19, 1857.

Emily Harriet McNeale, his youngest dau., died on May 5, 1868 at Brussels, aged 13.

His eldest son, also named John, died on Apr. 28, 1870, aged 27, in France.

Edith Mabel, dau of Major General Jackson Muspratt Muspratt-Williams of Fernihurt, Cheltenham, married 1. in 1898 to William Henry Arthur St. John Leeds, Indian Civil Service, d. 1917, son of Henry Leeds and Adelaide Louisa Davis. Edith and William had issue,

Sir Reginald Arthur St. John Leeds, b. 1899, Rosamond Edith Lilian Leeds, b. 1900 and Geoffrey Hugh Anthony Leeds, b. 1911.

Edith Mabel married 2. on Oct. 5, 1920 to John Hugh McNeale, d. 1956.
