Today i recieved the Birth certificate for the eldest child William, on this his Mother is listed as Elizabeth Sophia, makes things more complicated for a search for now.
what i have is,
Elizabeth Sophia Knighton
Sophia Elizabeth Knighton
Sophia Mary Knighton
 Born c1865 in Camberwell or Edinburgh or London in General
Father Charles Knighton, Master Mariner.

Hi, i posted this a while back and got some really good help. im still struggling with this woman and thought a repost might find some new help-, a;; help greatly appreciated, basically need to find a birth
Im looking for information on my great grandmother, i have marriage certificate, death certificate and found her on the 1901 census, i cant find her anywhere before the marriage in 1888,
Name: Sophia Elizabeth Knighton
Born:   C1865
Married: Frederick William Tomkins in LIverpool 1888
in the 1901 census she was listed in Toxteth Liverpool, on her Marriage certificate her father is listed as Charles Knighton Master Mariner Deceased.
The Charles Knighton i can find doesnt show as having any children.
If any one can help i would be grateful

What does it say was her place of birth in the 1901 census?

   1901 census ref is RG13/3497
 i
It says she was born in camberwell on the census but the only sophias born there in that period had fathers called william and james not Charles
