Kemp, London
« on: Friday 29 July 11 16:37 BST (UK) »
I'm not quite sure how all this works with all the different areas but I want to put this out there hoping someone can help me. I am tracing my Kemp line back and I have lots of information especially around the time of the Great Fire of London in 1666. I have a Ralph Kemp born in London 1637 and his father Jeremiah born in 1605 probably in Lincolnshire. I was hoping that a book I was reading titled 'A General History of the Kemp and Kempe Families in Great Britain' would give me all the answers but I found it stops with Ralph. All my searching stops because I think the name was originally Camp and not Kemp. Is there anyone who could point me in the right direction?

I am trying to find out details about a Frank Ernest Kemp born circa 1891 in Islington who married a Ethel May Homer in about 1912... I wonder if there is a connection?
