Hi leftalone, welcome to RootsChat :)

There was an Edward ROGAN died in 1990 ... his birthdate was given as 20 Jan 1915.

As you mention Vickers, I guess we may be talking about Barrow ... there was

Births Mar 1915
ROGAN    Edward    (mother nee DONNELLY)    Barrow F.    8e   1391

and also

Births Mar 1912
ROGAN    Margaret    (DONNELLY)    Barrow F.    8e   1407

Marriages Dec 1909
ROGAN    Edward         Barrow F.    8e   1475
DONNELLY    Margaret         Barrow F.    8e   1475

But there was another Edward ROGAN born in Barrow in 1915 - mother nee FAHEY - he too had a sister Margaret but she wasn't born till 1926 (there were several more siblings too).
Today I broke my personal record for most consecutive days alive.

Oh. Wonderful, Geoff
Theyīre my father and grandmother. I also found the other E Rogan (Fahey), it was quite a coincidence, really, same names, yr of birth and sisterīs name too. My father had 2 other siblings, 2 brothers who died young as did my grandfather so I never got to know them. My father was married and widowed then remarried my mother who had been a widow herself, as she had lost her 1st husband during WW2. Thanx for your info. I would appreciate any other that you may find as I donīt live in the UK and my remaining bros are from my mumīs side, I am the only one alive from my side, so itīs hard to find much from them.
Are you from Barrow?
Thanks for your help.

Are you from Barrow?

No.  I was once on a train that stopped there, that's all.  :)

I have sent you a PM (personal message).  You should be able to find it via a link at the top of this page.

My ROGANs seem to also arrive at Whitehaven and were born in Ireland, Co. Down.
Daniel and Mary nee McGRAW
His father seems to be Patrick as well.
children 1851 census:
charles
thomas
james
mary
barney
elizabeth
david
mary jane g/daughter
not mentioned in this census is Eleanor born in 1832 in Ireland.
Daniel was listed as a agriculteral labourer but he is also a blacksmith,
at the time was a different Charles ROGAN in Whitehaven who seems to have remained in Whitehaven.
Daniel ROGAN moved from Whitehaven to other towns in Cumberland and finally to Bolton.

Charles, Daniels' son, later moved to Northumberland.
Laure (France);
Graham (Cumberland, England/Grahamsfield, Scotland), Taylor (Orkney);
Rogan, Johnston, McKinney, Irwin, Hamilton (Ireland);
Masters (Wiltshire, England).
