Hayes Park Lodge, Hayes End, Middx

I was searching on the internet for images for the above but although the address appears to still be in existence no image for the lodge came up. Does anyone know if the building is still there or does anyone have any images. My granny, Florence Lucy Sibley was born there. Her father was John Sibley who was a coachman for the private lunatic asylum which I know is no longer there.

If Hayes Park Lodge is the place that I think it was in Hayes End Road then you can probably find an image of it on google earth.  I certainly found an image of the house we lived in over forty years ago which was only about a hundred yards away.  In the 1960s it was a hostel for homeless families run by the local council.  It is today a supported housing scheme but whether the original buildings still survive I am not sure.  See

Thanks for replying. Unfortunately I had already looked at these sites. Couldn't see it on Google Earth. Other sities showed the pictures of the big house .

i have not seen any ref: to a lodge only info on the house  being used as a private mental home so i will keep looking

Have you found the address on any census, when was Florence born?

I am very confused on Google earth because so much of the right hand side of Hayes End Road as you move away from the Uxbridge Road has been redeveloped.  I think it was off to the right approximately at the junction with Mead House Lane.  If you go a little way up Mead House Lane you can see a house through the trees on the right which may be it.  However as I said originally after forty years I may have the wrong place completely.

On the 1891 census, the next  entry is the Hayes Park Laundry and then Lower farm cottage.

Thanks everyone. Address is Hayes Park Lodge, Hayes End, Middx. On the 1911 census number of rooms is given as 4! Imagine it was a small coach house. I have a map, Hayes End 1894. Shows a lodge as being set back on the bend, right hand side, road bends to the left marked Mellow lane. There is a farm marked Home Farm. The other road going south is called Park Road.
