I know when my mum and dad got married as i was 6 at the time. it looks like my grandad is the one died 95 and born 1905 As my dad grandad nan are all layed to rest  in the same grave in ayr But will check it out if i can thanks again

Up date I've found out some more information on my family As follows
My grandad was Michael Murphy Born 1905 Died 1995 who married my gran name of Georgina they had the following children Michael, Rita who married Tommy Caddis lived at 12 Thornwood Avenue Ayr, Campbell, Cathy, Ina, Any help would be most grateful As all searches have turned up Blank

Could your gran's maiden surname be Cuthbert ?

I see a marriage in 1922 for a Michael Murphy / Georgina Cuthbert(other surnames Campbell / Kerr).
