My paternal grandfather, Charles Duffy, was from Annagry, a place called Meendernasloe. His wife was a Grace Rogers and they came to Scotland in the 1920s soon after they married. Going back one generation from them, Charles Duffy's father was Hugh Duffy who married a Bridget Duggan. If these families ring a bell with anyone then I'd love to hear from you.

I think this lot are mine:
http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1911/Donegal/Annagary/Meenderrynasloe/488695/

The Charles aged 9 is my grandfather. His mother Bridget is listed as the Head of the Family but I don't know what happened to her husband, Hugh, who has disappeared. They had a one-year-old daughter, so assuming she is his daughter, he presumably has died in the year before the census.
