Hi berri,

Richard and Lucy were my direct ancestors. Their son Job married Christiana Powell, and they had a son called William Francis Franklin, who was my g-grandfather. His son was Thomas Franklin who jumped the railway bridge in Coulsdon in 1957 (my grandfather).

I haven't been able to go any further back than Richard and Lucy, and I haven't looked into the marriages/children of Job's siblings.

Do you have a link to the book?

Thanks for the link, just ordered a copy :)

I've got a pretty incomplete record of the family (it's all in a GEDCOM file together with references to all the sources I've used), however we may be able to fill in some gaps on each others understanding. Would you like to swap info?

The book arrived today, but there was only a passing reference to the Franklins in it.
