Thanks for your reply. Yes, Louisa Lovell was my Great Grandmother. She married George Henry Browning on April 9th 1898 and on the marriage certificate under Father it says Robert Browning, Gas Fitter.
We have found out that he was born George Wicks , but have been unable to trace the father a "Robert Wicks" - in fact it looks as though Wicks was Annies birth name. It's a bit of a mystery, but our assumption is that perhaps Robert Browning fathered Annies children while he was still married to his first wife? I note that you were querying this in a previous post. If you have found any evidence to say this was not the case I'd be really interested. If not then I guess we'll never know for sure, but it looks as though Henry and George shared the same mother in Annie at least and maybe a father too?!
