hi paul,

far as i understand i can't send images by pm, it has to be e-mail.

if u prefer u can use another e-mail source (a mate or create a new address) i do not save e-mail address'es once the task is complete, i delete immediately.

hi paul,

the medal record did not take me any further and there does not appear to be a service record (not surprised there, i've only found one from eight i've looked for recently)

more disappointing is the fact that i cannot, as yet, find pension records.

have you progressed any further?

Hi Paul

My Great Grandad was George Henry Browning who I believe to be the brother of your Grandad!
I'd be really interested to find out if you have any family photos of the Brownings as I don't have any photos of George Henry or his siblings/parents.

If you would like to contact me please send me a PM with your email address and we'll go from there!

Many thanks

Hi yes my grandad had a step brother called George Henry browning but I think he was born a Wicks in 1876 in hoxton old town to Anne Wicks who married my g grandad Robert Browning in 1888 . Did you George marrie a Louisa Lovell in 1898 Stoke newington .  If so I'll send you a pm if I can work how to do it again .regards paul.
