A Hannah SAUNDERS was born in 1882 at Balmain to Joseph and Kate. Ref = 1882/4411

But I can't see the birth of William Joseph KENNA.

What am I doing wrong on nsw.gov.au??????

I am going into this page http://www.bdm.nsw.gov.au/cgi-bin/Index/IndexingOrder.cgi/search?event=births...

I am entering his name, his parents names and a date range of 1900-1905....

OK....rule number one for using search engines for genealogy.....start with as little information as possible. If you get too many results then add one more small piece of information.....and so on......

So.....just enter KENNA and the date range........   :D

Libby, I hope you come back.

I've found that there are death notices for both William Joseph KENNA and Hannah KENNA on the Ryerson Index.
http://www.ryersonindex.org/

Just put Kenna in the search engine then scroll down the results.
If you think the information in these notices might help you, you can request a lookup of these notices by clicking on the link on the Request a Lookup page.

I've also found a marriage for Elsie May KENNA in 1939 in NSW, so you should be able to find that. However, I couldn't see a marriage for Gladys.

Hannah SAUNDERS had several siblings that you can find on the NSW births index.

I'm going to suggest that this thread gets moved to the Australian Board rather than the Common Room, as more people who might be able to help you will see it there.

** Moderator comment:  topic moved to Aus board :)  **
