Bath St James MASON JOHN/ MITCHELL JANE

Good evening,
I am researching my relatives John Mason and Jane Mason (nee Mitchell). Census records indicate that John was born in 1798 in Great Bolton Lancashire and Jane was born in 1806 in Bath, Somerset. John Mason fought in the Battle of Waterloo in 1815 and married Jane Mitchell in Bath St James on 30 May 1832. The wedding was witnessed by James Burt and Sarah Bagg.

Unfortunately I can't find birth or baptism records for either John or Jane so my search has come to a halt. Could anybody help me please?

Hi

 Great Bolton was a township included within Bolton le Moors parish.  St Peters seems to be the Church you need, as this is loceted in what was Great Bolton.

The LDS has a records for the birth of a John Mason in 1797, which seems a good contender for your John
