My Great grandfather had a glazing business in Grafton Road New Malden which went out of business at some time before 1934. He continued to live in a house on the site with his daughter Alice Cairns until his death in 1943. I think that6 Burt Cairns (Alices husband) had a cobblers business on the site befor opening a shop in Elm Grove. Any information would be appreciated

Robert Watts of 17 Grafton Road died 21st October 1918 aged 21
Alice Watts of 17 Grafton Road died 20th November 1930 aged 61
John Alfred Thomas Watts of 17 Grafton Road died 26th July 1943 aged 76

Thank you for the information it is most usefull. I am also trying to find information about the glazing business my G granfather had in Grafton Road. Once again thanks.

Hello there terry!! exciting news for you!! I am a fairly close relative of yours it would seem.John watts was my GRANDFATHER.My parents were Albert and Alice watts and I grew up at no 17 grafton Rd . Would you like to get in touch?
