Do you know she has died? If so any idea of place she was living at that time?

I don't know for certain - she is an aunty we have not been in contact with for about 20 years. I'm afraid we don't have any more information.

Ok - we're not supposed to put living people's info on here so this is delicate...

Later GRO indices can be viewed at some records offices (just a few IIRC). Some local BMD inidices have coverage after 2005 - the UKBMD site has links to the various local sites - some can be searched together others individually:
http://www.ukbmd.org.uk/index.php?form_action=local
and
http://www.ukbmdsearch.org.uk/index.php

Otherwise some local newspapers have searchable "announcements" - again some use the same site - iannounce

No national BMD indexes for any date from 2006 are available on-line. The only place you will find such indexes are at
Greater Manchester County Record Office
Birmingham Central Library
Bridgend Reference and Information Library
Plymouth Central Library
as well as The National Archives, Kew
Certain Local Authorities have later indexes on line.

Unfortunately we don't have an address for her. She was originally from the Newcastle area but moved to Crewe and the latest record I have is her son *. I know she was alive when her husband died in 1984. That is the last we know.
