Hi Paul,
Sorry half the message was missing. Thanks for the tips this morning, I will check out different payments options today.
The other reply was a copy of the email I received this morning. Odd that they can't give me the names of the children, I wouldn't think any would still be living! Do you know if they have Census over there. I had a feeling they don't.
Anyway a big step forward, so thank you for your help in pointing me in the right direction.

I seem to recall that they will only give data to direct decendants.

As for the census, I have not come across one for Switzerland.  I don't know if they do one, or whether they never publish it.  Swissgill: can you comment?

They quote two children by name, but at 1911 there was one deceased child and one living; Enda aged 3 b Sandown IOW, presumably the Edelweiss Mildred E Hirter b 1908 in the BMD indeces. The other two are Vera N b1910 and Karl L b1911.  Not quite sure who the two are that the registry state, unless I've got the wrong end of the stick!

Paul

Good morning Paul,
The other two children you refer too, were they Audrey Mildred, and Johann Leslie Hirter? Audrey was my mother, and Johann my uncle. I also knew about Edna (Edelweiss), but Vera and Karl I have only recently found out about.  I think both of these children died early in life. What registry are you referring too? Please forgive my blank moment. I am now waiting for payments details, from the website you so kindly gave me. So hopefully it won't be too long before I have some more information.
Thank you,

Hi,
My "regsitry" reference was to the Civil Registry you e-mailed in Switzerland.
I have PM'd some info for you.
