If Sandra's discovery is the person you are searching, she seems to be buried in a cemetery in Oakmont, Pennsylvania, which is near Pittsburgh, 60 miles or so west of Rochester Mills. The cemetery is Oakmont-Verona Cemetery.
There is an entry for Ellen and a picture of a family gravestone (with corresponding dates) on Findagrave.com. Her maiden name seems to be Phillips and her husband's name seems to be F. Leonard McCauley (unless the creator of the Findagrave entry made a mistake), who died April 30, 2003.
Go here to view it:

That means the "report of the death was verified with a family member or someone acting on behalf of a family member."
I checked the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette newspaper for obits for both Ellen McCauley and her husband, but found nothing.
The closest newspapers to Rochester Mills would be the Indiana Gazette (published in Indiana, Pennsylvania, twenty miles fro Rochester Mills and the county seat of Indiana County). Back issues of the Indiana Gazette are on newspaperarchive.com, if anyone has access to it.
The other paper is the Punxsutawney Spirit in the town of Punxsutawney, about eight miles north of Rochester Mills.
Regards,
John
