FTM 2011 Source Citations
« on: Thursday 14 July 11 23:23 BST (UK) »
This is driving me CRAZY. On the source citation to my fathers burial, it says at the top, this is linked to 1281 facts.....HOW has that happened, it even comes up on my brothers birth citation. Where have I gone wrong. I find the templates, annoying and try not to use them. Too USA oriented.
I simply want to put the fact I found the birth death etc, on Ancestry or through a certificate.  Also any idea as to how I delete a source once it is on there.
I think Iam simply going to ignore them and just put the details in the individuals notes.
Any help at all please......

They would be attached automatically each time you merge something from Ancestry.

Its the same with the name places,  I sorted mine out a short time ago and I managed to get them from about eight hundred down to less than five hundred ::)
