Queens Own Cameron Highlanders
« on: Tuesday 12 July 11 19:26 BST (UK) »
I am looking for information of a cousin of mine, who reputedly died in France WW2 and was in the Cameron Highlanders.

His name was John (but went by the name of Jackie) Jackson

D.O.B 18 Apr 1921

I think he was born in Glasgow

There are no Cameron Highlanders on CWGC site killed in France in ww2 that match your mans' age and name, although there are some with same name and initial in other Scottish Regiments.

Are you sure of the details or is it family "hearsay"

Does any members of your cousins family possess any documents, photos, medals etc?
