I have a walker family tree on My Heritage as well as Geneology would like for you to join and compare  information. What I have been told about george walker is that he died about1922 at TE Poi Waikato. And they had one of the first herring bone milking sheds in the Waikato  Johnny Walker his brothers whanau are in Te kapa.  my side of the walkers were bought up on the east coast Gisborne Tokomaru Bay (Hautano) Thru my grandmother I am a Descendat of Jose Manuel so I am also Ngatiporou a Paniora (a name we have adopted spanish maori) I am trying to trace my whakapapa due to the fact that we have a reunion coming up and I have to produce the book.

by the way conflicting stories about the ship they came on. Some say the name sounds like a wine, some say it sounds like a Royal name. Im still going thru shipping logs might strike it lucky some day
