Another little "check" that we have the correct kate -you posted "your " Kate was b 13 dec 1881

"Joseph's" Kate appears on 1881 census age 2

1881 census was taken 3 April 1881

Hope this helps - even though it has shrunk the size of your family!!!!

Don't know what happened to Phillip - he doesn't show in 1901 or Marriages /Deaths????

Just to confirm the previous listing of Kate Drewitt by suzard;
Sparsholt PRs (ex BFHS);
Baptism;
26-2-1882 Kate Eliza DREWITT   d/o Philip & Eliza (Deceased),   Eastmanton,  Groom,   Sparsholt Feast [sic]

I can't find a burial for Eliza in either the Sparsholt PRs or the Berks Burial Index.

Marriage;
5-11-1881 Philip DREWITT, 23,  groom,  Eastmanton.  s/o Henry, Shepherd   to
                  Elizabeth Ann SANSUM, 19,  Domestic Servant,  Eastmanton. d/o John,Labr
                  wits; John Pithers, Matilda (P?) earce, Charles Hicks.

BBI only covers Sparsholt up to 1865 at the moment.

There doesn't seem to be anything later at the Berks RO.  Perhaps the register is still in use at the church.

Thanks to everyone for all the help! I don't mind the size of the family shrinking at all.  :D And now the dates make sense.
