Hi Anny,
I have John and Lydia Laws in my tree, I'm descended from their daughter Lydia (if we're talking about the same family here).
In 1841 John is a farmer at the Riverhead farm in Worlingworth; his age is given as 60 (probably rounded down), with wife Lydia, 55, and (presumably) children Samuel, 30, Lydia, 20 and George, 15. All are said to have been born in Suffolk.
There's also, at South Green, Worlingworth, Myra Laws, ag. lab's wife, 30, with children Mary, 9, Martha, 7, Samuel, 5, Lydia, 4, Elizabeth, 3 and George, 9 months. (Myra/Mirah was born in Laxfield).
Samuel Laws had married Myra Felgate on 26 Dec 1831.
The death of a John Laws is recorded in Hoxne RD in the September quarter of 1848.
