Hello,

Hoping someone can help me find information about Janet's family. She was born in 1860 in Ballarat to Alexander TAYLOR and Ann HODGES. She married John Torpey in Forbes. I have not been able to find anything about her parents' marriage or siblings and would like to know how they arrived in Australia. Any information gratefully received!

Do you have Janet's birth certificate?

Hi there, I don't have her birth certificate, only her death certificate. It lists her birthplace as Ballarat 1860. She died in 1933 in Bourke NSW...

Anne Hodges married Alexander Taylor in 1858, Reg#2842.

Ann and Alexander had the following children:

Charlotte Taylor born 1859, Ballarat, Reg#7488.
Janet Taylor born 1860, Ballarat, Reg#13642.
Thomas Alexander Taylor born 1862, Ballarat, Reg#12559.

A possibility for death:

Thomas A Taylor died 1909, Reg#11379, District of Wagga Wagga.
Parents listed as Alexander and Ann
