Hi
this is Anne from NY. Denis Loughlin b.1857 was my great grandfather, He emigrated to US c.1884.
Denis has two documented brothers, James b. 1840 and Michael b. circa 1845. This Michael married Eliza O Sullivan and in the late 1870's, they took a ship to New Zealand and the family remained there through out. James Loughlin was married to Maggie, Margaret Horan and Bartholomew was married to Hannah Horan. And as you said, Maggie and Honora Horan were sisters.
I am wondering if David could by any chance be James. You can find James and
Maggie in the 1901 and 1911 Census in Kilsarcon/Kilsarkan.
The generation before Denis (1857) and Michael who went to New Zealand, we have documented that their parents were Denis O Loughlin and Honora Lyne ( we have seed other spellings for Lyne
as well. iT IS my guess that the above Denis ( Honora Lyne) was also the son of Bartholomew O Loughlin and Margaret Murphy.
Regarding Bartholomew and Michael Loughlin sharing land in 1850, what do u know about this Michael ? The Margaret Loughlin born 1849 in Annabeg was most certainly the daughter of Bartholomew O Loughlin and Hannora / Honora Horan O Loughlin.
I correspond w two ladies from New Zealand on the Michael O Loughlin line backwards and a man from Australia whose great grandmother was the above Margaret O Loughlin. She married Jeremiah O Rourke .
very hopeful u will receive this
I hope this gets to you as I see u were corresponding in 2006, 13 years ago.
Anne Baldwin
