Isa lived and worked at sisterpath, she was marr.to yeoman purves and had one son who lives in Peebles.

I suspect that the War graves are for personnel who would have been based at Charterhall
aerodrome just to the East of Greenlaw.


I think i remember that both fighter and bomber/recon crews all trained there at one time or another during ww2.

The 'drome was a racetrack after the war. Jim Clark raced there. closed about 1960.

I see you have Jenkinson ancestors.  I am trying to trace a Warrant Officer John Andrew Jenkinson who was killed in WW2 and is commemorated on the Leitholm war memorial, which is next door to Fogo.  Would he have any connections to you? Helen
