Since it's an RC marriage, and before 1864, there will be no cert... just a parish record.

A marriage would usually take place in the bride's parish - i.e. where she was resident at the time. This might be her family parish...

where was he stationed at the time of the marriage? That might be a useful parish to look at.

Hi... I'm not sure... Oral history says the oldest child may have been born at the Dublin Barracks however he was in the RIC at 18 and there is a period of time beefore they can marry. His wife was fom Mayo, he from Meath, he served in East and West ridings of Galway and at Kerry. All need a lot more narrowing down before I can guess a parish  :C   thanks for your suggestion
