George and Ann Boid - Completed with thanks
« on: Thursday 30 June 11 15:53 BST (UK) »
Hi

I need another pair of eyes please. I cannot seem to find George born c1823 Hoyland, Yorkshire and his wife Ann nee Ann Woodhall Spink born c1830 South Emsall. However their place of birth does change in different census so I am not sure exactly where they were born.

In 1861 living Nether Hoyland, 1871, Wombwell.

The last I have of them is in 1881 living Elsecar

RG11 Piece 4607 Folio 115 Page 31

Ann died in 1908 Barnsley reg district and I believe George in 1905 same district.

The ref number will be fine, as I do have access

Many thanks

Hi Ken

I don't seem to have any Smiths or Ramsbottoms connected to a Ramshaw, sorry. However I haven't researched all the Ramshaws fully. Which particular Ramshaw, place and year of birth are you are interested in?

Hi Ken,

I seen your post about your dad George Ramshaw Smith. My great grandfather was his eldest brother William Walter.

I'm researching the family tree, it would be great if you could tell me any more info and share any photos you've got.

Not found the Ramshaw connection yet.

Cheers,

Dan
