Jackieandgary,

A warm welcome to Rootschat.  I have access to the Bradford Observer from 1834 - 1875.  If the information you are looking for is within those dates, I would be more than happy to take a look for you.

Best Wishes

Hi. the reason  am asking for help.I joined bradford library online as i live in manchester but they said they wont sent me my card i have to pick it up..they dont post it,i was trying to avoid going all the way to bradford by train.am doing my family history work from home and some lovely person helped me with a name on here.so thought i would try again. I was looking for the articles on Israel James Blum may 17th 1866 in bradford observer.and also there should be a previous article as well, the numbers i have are m26738 and another is 402 not sure if thats the ref for both..I was going to print the articles off  and send it to my family in australia, but as the library wont send my card,i was wanting to see if anyone could look up both articles and tell me if they are big or have pictures with them and is it worth a trip to bradford for me to get them printed from there.Or if you could put me in touch with someone who could do the work for me and i can pay them for there trouble.all i know is that Israel  was a school teacher he was a german jew and was murderd ,thanks for your time jackie and gary

Hi CJL,

I understand you have access to the Bradford Observer. I am really interested in getting some more articles on Israel James Blum. You helped Jackie and Gary who was helping me with my ancestor. I am really new to this and really appreciate their help and for your assistance as well. I am hoping that maybe there is an orbituary in the Bradford Observer with his parents name on it.

Thank you so much for your assistance. I would send you a private message but not sure how?

All my best,
Elizabeth

Can I please horn in and ask if you have access to the Bradford Observer of 11June1868 ? I subscribed to a site which claimed to provide extracts but they were all either fuzzy or incomplete or even the wrong part of the page !! Within that issue is an advert headed WOOLLEN MILLS - TO BE LET which appears to have been inserted by my gt gt grandfather J A Emmott. If you can access that advert for me I should be most grateful
