John Buzzard was a Private serving in the 1st (Foot) Guards.

The 1841 entry - something keeper, but I'm struggling. :-\

Is he in Islington?

Some references on A2A to a John Buzzard, paper hanger in Islington.  I can't see hanger, but I can see paper.

1827 "Insured: John Buzzard, 9 Cooper Street, Dacre Street, Westminster, gent and Elizabeth his wife"

This is him... but Catherine is his wife? Well that's thrown me now, she's alive and kicking in 1815 and on the 41 and 51 census...

Never thought of looking at the a2a website, thank you!  ;D

Can you attach a larger part of the entry. The occupation, first letter, similar to the "C" in Catherine. Second letter similar to the "a" in Catherine. Middle letter similar to the "h" in Catherine.

Regards

Malky. who cannot see "paper" at all as there are 3 "r"s in the entry to compare them with.
