Hello  ;D
Here's some more of the census  :) :)
Hello,

can anybody read what the occupation is please?  ???
The first is from the 1841 census, and the second is from a baptism record, which I think sas private p4 Good?  ???

Thank you  :)

Can you attach a larger part of the entry. The occupation, first letter, similar to the "C" in Catherine. Second letter similar to the "a" in Catherine. Middle letter similar to the "h" in Catherine.

Regards

Malky. who cannot see "paper" at all as there are 3 "r"s in the entry to compare them with.

What does the "William Buzzard" at the top of the first page do as a living?

Having had a close look at the enlargement, the "C"'s on the page all show a follow-through loop on exit. The one "G" does not. I wonder if this is a misspelling of "Gaol" as in old English prison, and he is a "Gahel" (as pronounced) keeper, being a prison warder.

He hasn't got any thing written in his box  :-\
There are only 5 people on that page who have their occupation written,
I've copied and pasted them all togeter, again I can't read most  ::) but maybe they are all working in the same sector?  ??? :)

NOTTINGHAM - Lambert & Selby
BERKSHIRE/then Hammersmith LDN - Fulker

GGfather Michael Wilson born Cork, lived Fulham London - moved to Boston USA 1889, what happened next?

Robert Giles in an Accoutrement Maker :- supplier of military accessories. (No room for the whole word "maker" so only the "M" is showing.)
John Fidoe is a Guns Lock Maker. (Makes actions for rifles and guns, as in side-locks and box-locks.)
