Diane's passing is not leaving one footstep - she leaves a long trail for the rest of her friends on and offline to follow.
A very special lady who will be much missed.

Arohanui to Rob, Bre and other members of the family now and always.

Prayers and thoughts from Southland, NZ.

It is with great sadness that this post is being made.

Yor was one of life's good guys and will never be replaced.  Her help to me and many others was invaluable and her kidness second to none.

Love to Bre, Rob and all her family at this sad time.

Rest in peace Yor

I am so very sad to be posting on here...My heart goes out to Rob and Bre at this very sad time...Yorvick was such a nice woman for the time that I did know her..willing to help anyone. Will be very sadly missed from the chat and boards. Remembered fondly and with love.

He Only Takes the Best

God saw you getting tired,
And a cure was not to be.
So he put his arms around you,
And whispered “Come to me”.

With tearful eyes we watched you,
And saw you pass away.
Although we loved you dearly,
We could not make you stay.

A golden heart stopped beating,
Hard working hands to rest.
God broke our hearts
 to prove to us,
He only takes the best.

May you rest in peace Yor.  Thoughts go to Rob and Bre, may they have the strength to get through this sad time, Yor will be forever there looking over their shoulders, enjoying watching what they are doing.

The Dash Poem by Linda Ellis

I read of a man who stood to speak
At the funeral of a friend.
He referred to the dates on her tombstone
From the beginning to the end.

He noted that first came the date of her birth
And spoke of the following date with tears,
But he said what mattered most of all
Was the dash between those years.

For that dash represents all the time
That she spent alive on earth
And now only those who loved her
Know what that little line is worth.

For it matters not, how much we own,
The cars, the house, the cash,
What matters is how we live and love
And how we spend our dash.

So think about this long and hard;
Are there things you’d like to change?
For you never know how much time is left
That can still be rearranged.

If we could just slow down enough
To consider what’s true and real
And always try to understand
The way other people feel.

And be less quick to anger
And show appreciation more
And love the people in our lives
Like we’ve never loved before.

If we treat each other with respect
And more often wear a smile,
Remembering that this special dash
Might only last a little while.

So when your eulogy is being read
With your life’s actions to rehash
Would you be proud of the things they say
About how you spent your dash?

Sincere condolences to Rob, Bree & family. I never met Diane in real life but knew her in the chatroom as a lady with wonderful compassion for others, hilarious sense of humour, deepest love for her family & she will be sadly missed by all who met her in real or cyber life.

My condolences to all Yorvick's family. I have not been in chat room for sometime but do remember we had fun while making head way in research, she will be missed. This poem comforted me when my M-I-L passed away

Death is nothingat all
I have only slipped away
into the next room.
I am I, and you are you.
Whatever we were to each other,
that we still are.
Call me by my old familiar name,
speak to me in the easy way
which you always used.
Put no difference in your tone,
wear no forced air of
soleminity or sorrow.
Laugh as we always laughed
at the little jokes we enjoyed together.
Let my name be ever the household word
that it always was,
let it be spoken without effect,
without the trace of a shadow on it.
Life means all that it ever meant.
It is the same as it ever was;
there is unbroken continuity.
Why should i be out of mind
because i am out of sight?
I am waiting for you, for an interval,
somewhere very near, just around the corner.  All is Well  she will be missed  Bart

I'm reading this with tears in my eyes.

To Rob, Bre and friends, I'm very sorry for your loss.

To Yor, thank you for everything. If one were to hope for a bright side, it might be that you are now with your ancestors and you get to find out all the things you wanted to know in life. If that's the case, please give my Mark Brady a kick for me.

Many hugs for all x
