William DOLEY

William Doley (28) arrived in South Australia on the Clyde 23/04/1878 with following:
Sarah - 30
Sarah Ann - 6
Thomas - 4
Amy - 2
George - infant, sadly died on voyage 1/03/1878.
Can not find the death of William in South Australia.
NSW BDM has a William W (12967/1908) father= William - Mother= Sarah  and
William (14750/1912) father =George - Mother = Sarah.
Can anyone advise if the 1912 death is the abovementioned William and William W is the son. Did William and Sarah had any more children in South Australia?.
I have the death  of Sarah 12/1/1928 and Sarah Ann 9/12/1927.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Did William's mother Sarah also emigrate.  She was detailed as 33 years of age on the 1851 census ie b. c1818.

Names here but no Mrs S DOLEY Snr. However Wm and family were assisted immigrants and I wonder if Sarah Snr. paid her own fare and therefore wouldn't be on the 'official' list which is listed on SA Records.

Thank you Cando and Dundee for this info.
In the funeral notice of William Sn. there is a mention of a W.H. Simons. This is my g.grandfather who married Sarah Ann Doley.( Mother = Sarah WoodField ). So this is the right family.
I also have a George Doley b. Jan 1844 d. 7/11/1928 in SA? Arrived 1881 on the Stirlingshire and a Thomas Doley b. 1847 Arrived 1878 on the Rodney.  I had not confirmed if they are connected to William although the 1851 Census would suggest they were all brothers.
I will look into the death of Sarah in 1893 it appears very possible to be William's mother.

Sarah Doley died on 16th May 1893 at the residence of her son, Thomas James Doley of Gibson St. Bowden SA. Native of Birmingham.
The death cert. states widow of George, Glassblower. Unfortunately does not say length of time in the Colony.
I am confident, George who died in 1877 in Birmingham is her huband.(1851 Census - Glassblower).
It would therefore appear she came to SA between 1877 and 1893.
George Henry Doley (son) arrived  in 1881 on the Stirlingshire (Ship 81/2 ) but can not find a passenger list to confirm she came with him.
Anyone have access to this passenger list?
