Julia Ryan

I am trying to find any information about my grandmother, Julia Ryan
She was born in Tipperary as far as I know in approximately 1881. She was a cook.  I know she worked for the Brazier Creagh's at Streamhill.  She also worked in Clonmel at 'Minella'

Julia married Michael Joyce on 24th November 1908 in St Peter and Paul's Catholic Church, Clonmel.

The witnesses at the wedding were Thomas Kenny and Mary O'Gorman.
Julia's father had died before 1908, he was a Blacksmith.

In October 1925 Julia moved to Mursley, Buckingamshire with her family.  She died aged 69 on 7th February 1950

Have you found Julia on the 1901 and 1911 census returns ?

Using her details, and that of her father from the marriage cert you could  be able to locate her with her family on the 1901 census. See : http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/

Ryan is a common name in Co. Tipperary so it might be difficult to find the right birth, so knowing the exact area the family lived could help narrow down the list.

I cannot find her on 1901 census, as I do not know where she was living. 

I have found her on 1911 census because by then she was married

Julia's age is given as 33 - which would make her year of birth c1878

What's her father's name ?

Yes this is Julia Ryan at Streamhill in 1911

Her father's name was Patrick, her mother is not known
