John Fraser and Ann Macdonald
« on: Tuesday 21 June 11 03:46 BST (UK) »
Does anyone have ties to:
John Fraser born about 1807 a mason, married to Ann Macdonald born about 1809,
married on 5th March 1830 by Rev. Kennedy, Redcastle. John was from Culbokie and Ann
from Drumore. At 1861 census they were living at Druim Mhoir.
They were my great, great grandparents
I only know about their daughter Ann born 1836, lived at Braes of Dunvornie, my great gradmother.
Regards
Min Walker ex Nairn

Hello Min,
As regards ties see my reply to your other posting, but you may also like to know that as well as Ann born 1836 John and Ann had three other children at least. There is Donald born 6th bapt. 19th January 1831, Alexander born 12th July bapt 5th August 1833 and John born14th bapt 16th December 1839. All born Brae Duvornie. I have found one marriage. Alexander married Margaret Treasurer in Knockbain on 29th December 1870; Marriage registered 2nd January 1871. Regards, Alastair MacDonald
