Well, I'm astounded at what I've learned about pronunciation here.

Seoras I thought your name was C-or-ass. Now, with mommabear's help, I think I've got it.  ;D ;D ;D

I named myself after my favourite composer, but I also like to think that people imagine I'm a 9ft tall man with a bolt through my neck.

well, why not  ;)

Quite!

Actually, Igor, I initially fell into the trap of believing you were male (the 9ft and bolt-through-the-neck thing completely escaped me, however  :-[)

Your avatar picture of your ancestor kept conjuring up the image of you as a modern-day version of Arthur! ;D ;D ;D

Actually Igor / Mrs. T, I thought the exact same thing for the longest time (not that it matters). After watching posts on some of the Totally Off Topic threads though (and checking out the profile which didn't indicated gender), I thought perhaps I was mistaken.  ;D

Ever since I first started using the internet, I have used the name Little Nell, and since beginning FH research, I have discovered that my gggrandfather died in a steamboat accident (explosion) on the Tamar River in Tasmania, and the name of the boat was the 'Little Nell'.  The 57 refers to my current age, because there was already another Little Nell here.
