Mclachlan- Scotland to NSW Australia

Hi Im looking for any more information on the folowing, Robert Mclachlan b 1880 is my great grandfather.
I may be travelling to Scotland soon and like to share information and/or meet relatives as well as visit the places they once lived.
Any help will be greatly appreciated, my nanna was a Mclachlan and is still alive and I would like her to know her ancesters story.

my sister is married to (*) they live in glasgow, he did live in Barmulloch,
he did work for the glasgow shipyard , is now near Balloch now and he talked about relatives he had in NSW Sydney when he visited here in 1995, I would imagine if you can find him that would help
I would tell you , but as my sister no longer talks to me I cant

Is there somewhere to find out more on Donald Mac's parents Mary Mcdonald and Colin Mclachlan? I would love to visit Argyll and the area they were from.
