hi.
Yes this is the right family in Llansannor.  Cannot find a birth for William or any trace of him in a census, I have even tried to trace him in her maiden name but no luck.  Thats all I know is my grandmothe use to speack about her brother in America and that he died of gold dust.  I also have a photo of the family together and he is standing on a chair with his mother and father and her father is nursing the oldest daughter and my gran is being nursed by her mother. Thank You very much for all you have found for me.

Hello Moorlands,

There is a RAOGK volunteer in California who will look up "Obituaries for all counties" so I wonder if this might be worth a try to see if the Obituaries (if there are any) for Mary Ann Cox and Alice Wilson may give further information to work with ?

Hi Moorlands,

The link I gave you was not an e-mail address - hover over http://www.raogk.org/californ.htm and then click on it.  That will take you to another screen - under ALL it gives a name of a lady with a name beginning with B, click on that name which will take you to a form to fill in with your details and the request for the 2 Obituaries.

I've been reading and rereading your thread.  I'm not sure if I can help, but I live in California (Northern California).  I don't have access to obituaries.  Do you have a specific question that I might be able to research?
