I would be pleased to obtain details of these items concerning J.J.Snodgrass too. His daughters N. and J. would be very interested.

I'm not sure what I expected but it was more than I found. A bit disappointing actually but if I had not followed it through I would not have known.
Thanks to all whom tried to help out.
Freddyboy.

Hi Buzzby John James Snodgrass was my grandfather and I am the daughter of one of his surviving daughters. Cassandra is my cousin but I'm not sure who " Freddyboy " is. Three daughters and one son are still alive and we would really like to know about the items that were found in W.A. He never lived in W.A but did travel home on the "Movada" and it must have stopped over in W.A. My mother's middle name is "Movada" ( named after the ship). He was never married to a "Janet" so that is incorrect but everything about his background seems correct. I actually found this topic by mistake whilst trying to find information about a small bridge that he and his brothers built, by hand, over the Castlereagh River in Mendooran many years ago. It is still there today and is called "The Snodgrass Bridge"
Waiting in anticipation
Thanks Kerrie G

my great grandparents lived in Mendooran, had 5 kids 3 girls 2 boys. my great grandfather died 25Th April 1966. he served in WW1 & WW2 along with his brother. I don't know if he is the J snodgrass you are looking for. he died before I was born & wasn't told much about him. he was born in a town near wagga wagga.
