Infact over the phone! the may give the verbal info of age and occupation and fathers of both of the couple free- if your lucky
In my opinion the marriage residence is not always the place of birth. Never forget Workhouse and overseers accounts records of birth

Good question

John Firth Will index -parish burials Death/burial-Barnsley MI's

use old IGI family search also the IGI beta website
-Hugh Wallis IGI website For Charles bapt or birth Freebmd website

Rotherham and Wakefield overlap Barnsley also Ecclesfield, Wortley and Penistone should also be concided
In my opinion the marriage residence is not always the place of birth. Never forget Workhouse and overseers accounts records of birth

Thanks one will look into that...
regarding the old IGI a few years ago I pulled a whole surname from northants and got entire families on the pedigree..birth/christ/some marriages death and burial, but i tried again lately to check on something and they had vanished, I put this to my bro who is a mormon elder to find out where they had gone/removed, and is in the process of, so watch this space....

Hi Mick

Being baptised C of E (Non practicing) I'm not up on Mormon In's and outs but have heard that! they have to go back 6 family generations as members for the church, as all things in life under pressure of! and the poor records BMD on limited info pre 1837 parish registers, alot of early submissions were open to error (1950's - ish) With access more open now!! to all in repositories on & off line and computer access! these old submissions ancestral errors show up more now. LDS has taken a lot of stigma or ribbing over them and may have removed the ones they think maybe or are incorrect.
