salvery records for Nova Scotia

Hi there,
I am very new to research and consequently seem to go round in circles!. My latest problem is accessing slavery records for Nova Scotia, Canada, between 1790 and 1810.
I researched a marrige bond for Joseph Coppin, who I think is probably my 3x great grandfather, and found such a contract with a Sarah Wilkison. The bond was also signed by a Robert Rudd. the date 28th July 1810. In searching in other records at the same time and I cannot remember where, I also found records in a hand written ledger of slave records for Nova Scotia. A Sarah Wilkison was mention several times and registered as a mulato. Stupidly I did not . record and have no idea how I found it. I have tried every thing I can think of and its driving me nutds.\, as I know I read this record but i can't find it now! Please can you help me.

The Nova Scotia Archives may be the site that you saw the info. There is a lot of info that is accessible on-line and it can be time consuming but worth checking out.

i am planing a trip to N.S. so I will be able to do some more in depth research. I am really mad at myself for not saving the information I read, as I think it will definitely shine some light on our mysterious Sarah. She is in England on the 1841 census, but I need to verify if this is the same Sarah. On the marriage bond is a Robert Rudd, who I am guessing is not her father.
So far i have not found the same record that I saw, but will keep trying.
