Hi
Can anyone tell me where a person from the Shalmors/Chalmers Street Greenock around 1932 to 1943 would have been buried. Almost certain the family would have been Presbyterian. Northern Ireland here so not to familiar with Scotland.
Thank you
J

Hi
Samuel Smallwoods died July 1932 and his wife Mary Smallwoods died January 1943.

There is a Chalmers Street in Gourock so the may be in that cemetery
Have you tried contacting Renfrewshire council?

J....would need to dig out my manual records....but something sticks in my mind that Samuel was perhaps buried back in Londonderry.

OK, I have a note from a fellow researcher that he was indeed brought back home, by his son Samuel, and buried in Kilaloo cemetery (I assume meaning the church graveyard, so most likely Holy Trinity Parish Church do you think?).
