1840's Moulton Family Birth - Slad/West Dean

Hello,

I am looking for information on a Moulton Family who lived in the West Dean area of Gloucestershire in the early to mid 1800's.

I have them on the Census' in Ross in 1841, and West Dean (Pillowell) in 1851 & 1861. The parents names are William and Sarah.

The problem is that one member I am looking for seems to be missing a Birth record, despite siblings having corresponding ones in West Dean or Monmouth and all of them appearing together on Census returns.
There is no evidence of exceptionally older siblings so I dont think an illegitimacy is a possibility here, equally so she is a middle child.

Her name is Esther Moulton, born abt 1844 in Slad (according to all later census'). I know she eventually married John Townsend in Westbury-on-Severn in 1867 and died in Pontypridd in 1916. All information corresponds with the 1844 Birth, just no record.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated,

Have looked at the www. forest-of-dean.net parish records for Westdean but no Esther appears on there, Ann and James are listed.
I did notice another child George Molton 26/6/46 to a William and Sarah residence Pillowell, Williams Occupation Collier, sadly it seems George dies in 1848. This you may already know.

I have searched on Glos BMD http://ww3.gloucestershire.gov.uk/bmd/MainMenu.aspx but the birth isn't obvious. Do you know the maiden name of Esther's mother, so we can search that way?

There is a transcript for a marriage on the www.forest-of-dean.net for a William Moulton, residence Yorkley Slade, occupation collier, father name John Moulton dated 8/6/1840 to a Sarah Morgan, residence Pillowell,  father name James Morgan.
Witnesses to the marriage George Price and Esther Price.

Glos BMD http://ww3.gloucestershire.gov.uk/bmd/MainMenu.aspx has her if the marriage posted by West is the right family. Hester Molton, mmn Morgan, b 1844, Westbury on Severn, Newnham. Also Ann b 1843. For George and Thomas the surname is Moulton, and the place Monmouth, Coleford (George b 1846, Thomas b 1848).
