thanks for info but i'm still in trouble trying to send a personal message. what is AVATAR I'm getting on in years and computing is a new language to me. Thanks also for the advice about not sending a live e-mail.

Frugal, you can click on the little scoll under the name RyanBridge and this will take you directly to the Private Message (PM) form.

Alternately, you can click on the little figure under his name or his name itself. On the left side of the page that then appears you will find words 'send PM'. Click on them and the PM form will appear.

Ryan you have made 2 posts on Rootschat: when you have made 3 you are able to send a message
