Birth 1833 East Stonehouse, Plymouth

I have searched high and low in census, parish records etc but can find nothing to confirm my GGGrandfather's birth in East Stonehouse - Alexander Dore, possibly Alexander Josiah Door.  Have also checked online info re gravestones at Stoke Damerell.  Is there an expert out there on East Stonehouse, possibly non conformist records?  His father was another Alexander Dore deceased prior to 1864.  Hoping to hear from someone.

i thought I would have to visit and it is too far to travel at the moment.  Do they offer a look up service via phone or email??
