Frederick Henry was born in Hamillton NZ but married in Auckland and died in Auckland NZ as did Esther so the children may have all born in Auckland.

1893 and 1896 Electoral roll there is a FREDERICK HENRY DYER in auckland
a TAILOR at Symonds Street auckland
Was that his occupation..just to show whereabouts

As the marriage wan;t until 1890
was Montague Esther's maiden name or previous marriage

Frederick was a tailor in Auckland, as for Esther it says on Fredericks Death Cert to whom married  Esther Montague, I haven't got their marriage cert as yet,

 On Fredericks headstone Esther Dyer Died 14 dec 1949 @ 80,
I also found another Esther Montague married to a John Alex Bourhill in 1877 on the Historical records.

The death then is consistent with the Mary that arrives in 1876 who is born c1869
