Nurse Hillyard
« on: Wednesday 08 June 11 17:58 BST (UK) »
Hello All,

I am trying to trace any information about a Nurse Hillyard (forename unknown) who lived in Leicester and who had close connections with my grandmother in Sussex. I am not certain if she was actually related or not. The information I have is sparse but I believe she would have been born in the 1880's and died about 1963, give or take 2 or 3 years. At some point ,I believe she was matron of an Almshouse in the area.

I should be most grateful if anyone can shed any light on this.

Mimmi

Do you know where she might have died?  Do you have any other information at all?  When was she close to your Grandmother?

If she was a matron at an Almshouse then it might be worth contacting the link below to see if they have any further info.
