Great Grandfather Alfred needing a smarten up please

Another ancestor Great Grandfather Alfred - Barrister at Law - wishing for a brightening and removal of scratches please. I just can't help myself posting more photos when I know all you skilled people are out there doing such wonderful work. It appears you all really enjoy doing what you do and speaking personally - it is really appreciated.

Alfred was born in 1838 and I wonder at what period this photo was taken He worked in British India for many years.

Bill and Irene you excel each time - thank you so much.

Each photo restoration holds its own special quality either in tone, or content. I love the different shades of colour and how the chair and flowers stand out for instance.
