off the top of his head dad said he thinks he died in the 1920s  because his granny married a skelding in the 1930s but he will check it out

Thank you for checking that for me.  I have a marriage of Mary Jane Harper to William Thomas Skelding in 1932 in Dudley, and a death of Mary Jane Skelding on 9 June 1970 in Dudley and her burial at Dudley Cemetery on 12 June 1970.  I couldn't find an obvious death for William Harper prior to the Skelding marriage so I was doubting myself, thanks to your dad for confirming that for me.

Hi all wow things have certainly got complicated strange reading this years later. Funnily enough John I hadnt realised we had spoken before this was a very constructive thread I will add the pic of Ellen to the Lounds group on fb. Now when this lockdown is over properly we must organise a meet up and I will bring along my mother. I have met Tina and Caroline but would love to meet the rest of you x
