JOHN WRAY BORN c1833 IRELAND

On 1 September , 1843 John Wray landed in Belleville, Ontario Canada after leaving Coolcrannel, Aghalurcher, Feramanagh where his father was a school teacher.    His mother Mary Morton had recently passed away and his father Thomas Wray was somewhere in Ireland.  John Wray supposedly joined one of  his Morton Uncles in Hastings County, Ontario.   Later he was said to have gone to the USA.  In 1916 his brother William left him $300 in his will.  Does anyone know what happened to John after he left Canada?

I found some family trees at Ancestry which indicate John Wray with the parents you mentioned married Teresa McCune in Adams, Illinois in 1870. They don't list any sources that proves this is the correct John Wray however and they all have an incorrect death date listed. Since you believe he went to the US, you will likely have better luck posting your request on the US board.
