Thomas WRAY c1800 Coolcrannel Aghalurcher
« on: Saturday 04 June 11 06:00 BST (UK) »
Looking for information about Thomas Wray who was a school teacher in Coolcrannel near Maguiresbridge in the 1820s to 1842.  He married Mary Morton at Gallon Parish in 1828 and disappeared after  March 1843 when his two elder sons sailed to Canada to join their Morton Uncles in Ontario.  His three youngest children were left in the Lisnaskea Workhouse.  Thomas Wray may have remarried as Mary died in 1842.  His children are William born 1829, Elizabeth born 1831, John c1833, Mary Ann 1835 and Alexander 1828.

Thomas may have had a brother, James Wray who was living in Coocrannel in 1833 when his son James was baptised at LIsnaskea Church of Ireland parish.  James Wray was married to Mary.
