I have an elusive Ancestor James Richardson boen 25 February 1821 in Stapleford Nottingham in the Shardlow Ward??born to John Richardson 1787 and Sarah Butler 1792 in Stapleford James is in the 1841 census but is "missing " as in husband "OVERSEAS " in subsequent Censuses His Wife has the Family You never know what you'll find next  Sincerely Seamus

Well Shardlow is just over the boarder in Derbyshire while Stapleford is just this side of the boarder. Registration districts have a habit of moving around a bit.
